Alice Ghirardelli, P.E.
President/CEO

Founder of Ghirardelli Associates, Ms. Ghirardelli is responsible for business development, recruiting, technical oversight and staff training. Beginning with several years on staff at the California Department of Transportation, Ghirardelli concentrated on construction management of projects to Caltrans District 4 standards. She has served as Resident Engineer and Project Manager for several multimillion-dollar interchange and expressway projects in the San Francisco Bay area, involving heavy rail track construction, temporary shoeflies, and railroad bridge structures. Ghirardelli is currently developing and implementing training programs for the Santa Clara Transportation Authority, aimed at resident and assistant resident engineers, as well as construction inspectors. She also serves as a consultant to the Alameda County Transportation Authority for claims resolution issues. Ghirardelli was awarded a BS in Civil Engineering by Virginia Tech University.

Randall Bruner, P.E.
Executive Vice President

Currently serving the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority as resident engineer of the I-880 / CA 237 Interchange Project in Santa Clara County. Previously, Bruner worked as a construction engineer, oversight engineer, and structures representative on a wide variety of projects such as the elevated circular roadways at San Francisco International Airport ($60 million); two interchanges on highway I-880 in Oakland ($29.7 million); earthquake retrofits in San Mateo ($7.5 million); road widening projects in Foster City and San Mateo ($7 million); and more. He earned his BS and MBA at Santa Clara University.

Jaemin Park, P.E.
Executive Vice President

Provides resident engineering and project management services to our clients, including Caltrans District 4 construction at the Richmond-San Rafael toll bridge. Park's 17 years of experience in design, construction management, and administration of bridge and highway projects are a valuable asset to our clients. He has served as resident engineer, structure representative, construction inspector, project engineer, and design engineer on numerous projects. Bridge projects that have benefited from his expertise are the Hillsdale Boulevard / Highway 101 interchange in San Mateo, I-880/98th Avenue and I-880/Hegenberger Road in Oakland, and Tulocay Creek Bridge in Napa, among others. His BS degree is from Cal Poly Pomona University.
